Michaela Tychtlová

Senior Associate

Michaela Tychtlová is a senior associate at Havel, Holásek & Partners. She specialises in real estate and construction law, commercial law, corporate law and energy law.

In the field of real estate and construction law, Michaela has provided comprehensive legal advise to both Czech and foreign investors on acquisitions and sales of real estate units, development and construction, the lease and subsequent administration of shopping centres, residential and office buildings, industrial and logistic sites, as well as the implementation of greenfield projects. 

In the field of commercial and corporate law, she has been involved in a number of acquisitions (on both the sell and buy sides). She also provides advisory on commercial agreements (including contracts for work, service agreements, and purchase and sale agreements).

In the field of energy law, she specialises in legal due diligence associated with acquisitions or refinancing of renewable energy production projects, namely photovoltaic and wind power plants.

In environmental law, Michaela deals with matters associated with integrated permits.

Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2011, Michaela worked for almost ten years in a leading international law firm that ranks among the 10 largest law firms of the world.

TRANSACTIONS

  • advising a number of both foreign and Czech investors (including a leading international retail chain based in the UK) in connection with the construction of shopping centres and industrial parks all over the Czech Republic, from the acquisition of the land plot and provision for potential legal risks, development agreements, infrastructure agreements and contracts for work to the subsequent lease and administration
  • advising a number of major investors (on the side of the lessor) on the lease of first-class commercial and office premises in Prague and in other places in the Czech Republic, including lease to anchor tenants
  • advising a Spanish investor on real estate investments in Prague, carried out as company acquisitions
  • advising an international company on the acquisition of land for the construction of an outlet centre through a joint venture
  • advising a major international manufacturer of trucks on the development of an industrial park
  • advising a major European energy company on the intended acquisition of a wind power plant in the Czech Republic
  • advising a foreign company on the acquisition of a Czech manufacturer and its restructuring
  • advising a leading international investment bank in the review of fulfilment of the terms of a credit agreement in connection with a contract for work
  • advising an international manufacturer of automotive parts on a standard contractor’s agreement
  • advising an international foodstuff manufacturer on the intended acquisition of a major Czech food company
  • advising a Czech company on the protection of its investments into airport land in the Czech Republic and in obtaining an airport operator’s licence
  • advising a bank on the refinancing of photovoltaic power plant project
  • advising a heating plant on integrated permits
