Ján Deset

Ján Deset is a senior associate at Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specializes in banking, finance and capital markets, restructuring and insolvency, and also in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.

In banking and finance, he focuses primarily on all types of debt financing (including its syndicated forms), representing financial institutions, as well as debtors. Ján has been involved in a number of international and domestic transactions in the recent years, providing legal support to leading international and local financial institutions and major companies.

In the area of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, he has been involved in a large number of transactions, advising sellers and purchasers alike, namely in the energy, construction, pharmaceutical and private equity sectors.

Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2011, he worked for almost four years with Clifford Chance, where he focused mainly on finance and corporate law.
