Bořivoj Líbal

Bořivoj Líbal is a senior associate at Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specialises in corporate law, including international and domestic acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. In addition, he focuses on company transformation, corporate governance and the law of contracts.

In the field of acquisitions and divestitures, Bořivoj has recently advised (both sellers and buyers) on transactions in sectors such as facility management, mechanical engineering, food processing, technologies, media and telecommunications.

In company transformations, he mainly specialises in domestic and cross-border mergers.

In the area of corporate governance, he focuses particularly on compliance with Czech law (namely supervision over compliance of the conduct of corporate governing bodies and the elimination of any adverse effects of such conduct, as well as compliance of corporate documentation with Czech laws).

In the area of law of contracts, he specialises in international business law.

Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2011, Bořivoj worked at the international law firms NORTON ROSE and CMS Cameron McKenna where he focused on corporate law, dealing, in particular, with corporate transactions and international litigation.
