Aleš Roztočil

Aleš Roztočil is a senior associate at Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specialises in the law of the public sector and regulatory matters, EU law, competition law, public procurement, litigation, administrative proceedings and administrative judiciary. He also focuses on administrative law in general, on the tax and public aspects of business transactions and on construction law.

Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2010, he worked for nearly five years at the Supreme Administrative Court as an assistant to the President of the Court and as the head of the documentation and analytics unit. His main areas of specialisation included EU law with an emphasis on competition, public procurement and environmental law. He was instrumental in preparing a number of substantial decisions of Czech administrative courts and submitting references for preliminary rulings to the Court of Justice of the European Union. Before serving at the Supreme Administrative Court, Aleš worked as a trainee lawyer and distrainor.
