Marek Lošan
Marek Lošan is a partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity / venture capital, legal audits and legal due diligence, tax planning, various complex real estate projects and legal advisory to private clients. Marek is co-responsible for providing legal services to German-speaking clients. His clients include major German, Austrian and U.S. investors in the Czech and Slovak Republics, a number of the Czech Top 100 companies and some of the most successful and wealthiest Czech and Slovak private businesspersons.
During the past three years, Marek Lošan advised clients in numerous transactions on both the sell and the buy sides, mainly in the automotive and construction industries and in the private equity sector.
Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2007, Marek Lošan worked for almost ten years with leading international advisory and law firms in the Czech Republic (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Beiten Burkhardt and White & Case).

- advising on the amalgamation of two major insurance companies in several Central and Eastern European countries (a transaction worth EUR 5.1 billion)
- advising a major foreign investor with global operations on the execution of a greenfield project for the overhaul and remanufacturing of gas turbines in the Czech Republic
- advising a multinational producer of electronic devices for the automotive industry in connection with the acquisition of a Czech subsidiary of a major international group of companies manufacturing automotive spare parts
- advising a major German institutional private equity investor in connection with legal due diligence of Czech and Slovak subsidiaries of an international manufacturer of rubber and thermoplastic elastomer products for the automotive industry
