Martin Fučík

Martin Fučík is a partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specializes in real estate and construction law, commercial and corporate law and labor law. In the area of real estate, construction and development law, Martin has particular expertise in advising clients on the construction, management and lease of residential projects, retail premises and shopping centers, hotels and large office, industrial and logistic buildings.

Martin Fučík frequently assists local and foreign investors pursuing greenfield projects. He also takes an active part in conferences, workshops and seminars regarding the revitalization of brownfields in the Czech Republic. In respect of acquisitions and sales of immovable properties, Martin has been instrumental in numerous transactions (on both the buy and sell sides) involving transfers of commercial as well as residential buildings. In recent years, Martin has also advised clients on projects involving renewable resources (particularly photovoltaic and biogas power plants).

Typical projects handled by Martin Fučík involve legal advisory to Czech, Slovak and foreign companies, governmental agencies and private investors in connection with development projects, leases, acquisitions and sale of immovables by means of transfer of property (asset deals) or by means of the transfer of a project vehicle (share deals).
 
Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2002, Martin Fučík worked at the Prague office of a U.K. law firm.
