Jozef Semančín

Managing Associate

Jozef Semančín is a managing associate at Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specialises in banking and finance, including highly complex structured financial transactions, securities and derivatives law, insolvency law and corporate law.

Jozef’s clients include major financial institutions as well as private clients.

Jozef has advised numerous lenders and borrowers, particularly in the engineering, chemical, food and construction industries.

Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2011, Jozef worked for nearly ten years in leading international and Slovak law firms (e.g., Linklaters), in Slovakia’s largest bank (Slovenská sporiteľňa) and in a major metallurgic corporation (VSŽ Košice (currently U.S. Steel Košice)).
