Jaroslav Šuchman
Jaroslav Šuchman is a legal expert of Havel, Holásek & Partners. He specializes in EU law, personal data protection, intellectual property law, legislation and the public sector.
Before joining Havel, Holásek & Partners in 2010, Jaroslav received his LL.M. degree at the Columbia Law School in New York. He worked for five years at the Parliament of the Czech Republic as Head of the European Union Unit, Senate Chancellery, where he was instrumental in building mechanisms and providing for the daily parliamentary monitoring of the EU legislative procedure following the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union, and building and developing a framework for the interaction between the Senate, the Czech Government and EU institutions. He was co-responsible for the contents and course of the parliamentary dimension of the Czech Presidency of the EU in 2009.
