Havel, Holásek & Partners strengthens its family law team

The largest Czech-Slovak law firm, Havel, Holásek & Partners, has gained another significant asset in its family law consulting team. Eva Hrubá, an attorney with previous experience with legislation at the Ministry of Justice and at the Office of the Government, as well as with custody matters at the Prague District Court, has joined the Firm. At Havel, Holásek & Partners, Eva will primarily advise a growing number of private clients, including about a third of the richest Czechs and Slovaks.

Family law practice, together with criminal law practice, constitutes the two areas that Havel, Holásek & Partners is currently developing most in relation to private clients. Besides Eva Hrubá, leading Czech family law expert Renáta Šínová has also started to cooperate with the Firm this year. Renáta has participated in creating new private law and commentary on it, and gives lectures on this topic not only at the Faculty of Law of Palacký University Olomouc, but also to judges and state representatives at the Judicial Academy of the Czech Republic.

These personnel reinforcementsfit in our long-term strategy to be able to provide our clients- individuals to provide a comprehensive and completely discreet legal and tax service as part of a single service package so that they can find in us a safe harbour also in solving their private problems, such as family matters, says Jaroslav Havel, managing partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners and head of the largest private client consulting group in Central Europe.

In the area of family law, Havel, Holásek & Partners provides advice including, for example, active risk identification, recommendations and specific contractual arrangements concerning exclusive property and joint property of spouses, resolution of divorce disputes with the preference of agreement, the issues of custody of minors, paternity, adoption, inheritance matters, legal capacity, etc. We also represent clients in disputes before courts of all instances, including the Czech Constitutional Court, and communicate and cooperate with experts in related and cooperating fields, i.e. psychologists, tax advisors, notaries, assistance service organisations, authorities for social and legal protection of children, etc.
