Havel, Holásek & Partners was established in 2001 by experienced lawyers from leading international and Czech law firms, and quickly became one of the most respected and fastest-growing independent law firms in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The Brno office is the principal point of contact for clients not only from south Moravia, but also from the broader territory of south and central Moravia and the Czech and Moravian highlands region. The legal team of the Brno branch office currently consists of 18 lawyers. The Brno office also comprises a team of more than 40 employees who are in charge of debt administration and enforcement.

In terms of management and know-how, Havel, Holásek & Partners’ branch office in Brno is fully supported by the firm’s Prague head office. In more complex transactions, specialists from the Prague office, which employs more than eighty lawyers, may also join the Brno legal team as necessary, along with specialised translators and other professionals.

These clients represent the region’s traditional industries, e.g. privatised industrial heavy engineering enterprises,  major construction companies and public sector institutions, and also include rapidly-growing private IT, manufacturing, trade and service companies and foreign investors newly entering the region, especially from the United States, Germany, Austria and Asia.

Through the branch office in Brno, Havel, Holásek & Partners actively supports investment development in southern Moravia, working closely with relevant state and regional bodies, associations of entrepreneurs and other organisations.

Bratislava Branch Office – legal services in the Slovak Republic

Havel, Holásek & Partners provides its clients with comprehensive legal services under Slovak law from its branch office in Bratislava, established in March 2008 and supported by other Slovak lawyers based in Havel, Holásek & Partners’ headquarters in Prague.

The principal aim of Havel, Holásek & Partners’ branch office in Bratislava is to provide the firm’s clients with comprehensive top-quality legal services under Slovak law through experienced Slovak lawyers while at the same time providing clients with the comfort of a single law firm for the Czech Republic and Slovakia which provides advice of the highest professional standard and coordinates the legal services delivered in both countries to the fullest client satisfaction. The Slovak advisory team currently consists of twelve lawyers based in the Bratislava branch office, supported by four partners and four Slovak lawyers from our Prague head office.
