Advising on the acquisition of a business in liquidation

Havel, Holásek & Partners advised Bilfinger Berger Power Services on acquiring the property of the estate of AE&E CZ, an insolvent subsidiary of the bankrupt AE&E Holding, a  supplier of complex power technologies.

Thanks to the acquisition, the city of Brno will gain a particularly strong foreign investor in the construction and energy sectors whose intention is to create a development centre for the activities of the entire Bilfinger Berger group, continue the business activities of AE&E, and secure over 100 jobs. The total value of the transaction amounts to millions of euros.
