|
In 2009, with a goal to deliver legal services to its clients in the broader region of southern and central Moravia, Havel, Holásek & Partners became the first leading Prague-based law firm to establish a branch in Brno. The Brno office is the principal point of contact for clients not only from south Moravia, but also from the broader territory of south and central Moravia and the Czech and Moravian highlands region. The legal team of the Brno branch office currently consists of 18 lawyers. The Brno office also comprises a team of more than 40 employees who are in charge of debt administration and enforcement. In terms of management and know-how, Havel, Holásek & Partners’ branch office in Brno is fully supported by the firm’s Prague head office. In more complex transactions, specialists from the Prague office, which employs more than eighty lawyers, may also join the Brno legal team as necessary, along with specialised translators and other professionals. Havel, Holásek & Partners’ branch office in Brno provides a full range of legal services in the Czech, English, German and Spanish languages in all standard areas of law related to our clients’ business activities. For more complex legal matters or if legal services are required in other languages, such as French, Italian, Russian, Polish or Ukrainian, the team is joined by specialists from the Prague office in order to fully meet our client’s requirements. Currently, Havel, Holásek & Partners has clients in south and central Moravia and the Vysočina region. These clients represent the region’s traditional industries, e.g. privatised industrial heavy engineering enterprises, major construction companies and public sector institutions, and also include rapidly-growing private IT, manufacturing, trade and service companies and foreign investors newly entering the region, especially from the United States, Germany, Austria and Asia. Through the branch office in Brno, Havel, Holásek & Partners actively supports investment development in southern Moravia, working closely with relevant state and regional bodies, associations of entrepreneurs and other organisations. |
